Candidate for Georgia State Representative, House District 90
As a civil rights attorney and immigrant, Saira has ensured countless individuals from marginalized communities have their voices heard.
Originally from Pakistan and Spain, Rep. Draper moved to the US as a young child and graduated from Georgia Tech and Georgetown University Law Center. She has dedicated her professional career to protecting voter rights. In 2022, her work ensured Georgia reinstated the automatic voter registration program.

Born in a working-class family with strong community oriented roots, Micheal learned the value of hard work and public service. Now, as a small business owner, he strives to pass those values to his daughter by demonstrating the power of change through leadership. As a proud parent, he is a dedicated advocate to ensure equitable funding and inclusive classrooms exist in Georgia.

Born in Mexico, Laura immigrated to St. James, Minnesota when she was eight years old. While in middle school she spent her summers bean walking and working at poultry and corn processing plants. Years later, Laura has a variety of diverse experiences from working as a corporate executive at Fortune 500 companies to running her Art-focused nonprofit. Laura’s platform focuses on strengthening Georgia’s economy. Among other policy issues, Laura wants to cut healthcare costs, restore reproductive freedom, and protect families against gun violence.
Candidate for Georgia State Representative, House District 42
In 2008, his family experienced a devastating economic loss leaving them to move to an overcrowded small apartment in Miami, Florida. In 2011, his schoolmate Trayvon Martin was brutally murdered leading Gabriel to confront the injustice in society and fully immerse in social justice. Through community organizing, he has developed strong communal ties with everyday Georgians and the issues they face.

The daughter of immigrant small business owners, Mary Ann’s life is a testament to the resilience of Latinas in Georgia. While juggling a full-time job as a single parent, Mary Ann earned her bachelor’s in Criminal Justice Leadership from Mercer University and her master’s in Public Administration from Clayton State University.
Candidate for Hall County Sheriff
Born to a low-income household, as a young child Jerry was dependent on social service programs such as public housing and food stamps. He is now a decorated veteran, father, and husband. As Sheriff, he will guarantee law enforcement’s benchmark for excellence by providing first-class public safety and community services to the people of Hall County, while maintaining respect for individual rights and human dignity.
